The Executive Committee (EC) of GUK comprises 7 members elected by the General Committee (GC) for a term of three years. Tasked with upholding the organization’s mission, the EC meets quarterly, or more frequently as needed, and is fully accountable to the GC. The EC oversees all aspects of management, administration, policy formation, and implementation of organizational programs and projects. Among the EC members, the Executive Director plays a pivotal role as both Member Secretary and decision-maker. Entrusted by the EC with final decision-making authority, the Executive Director ensures effective administration, maintains liaison with government bodies, donor agencies, national and international partners, and other key stakeholders, and is authorized to sign all official agreements. Through the combined expertise of its members, the EC ensures that the organization’s activities are conducted efficiently, aligning with strategic goals and responding to the needs of the communities served.
